YMCA Groundfloor Project wins Lord Mayor’s Award

YMCA Cork’s Groundfloor Project won the Lord Mayor’s Community Award for its pioneering work in creating a youth led youth space. The project which has been operating for a number of years works with over 150 young people from 15-25 and creates a safe-space where young people themselves decide the activities and programmes that are provided.

YMCA Cork Launches Annual Report 2014

YMCA Cork recently launched its Annual Report for 2014. The report gives an account of the many achievements of its young people during the year both in terms of personal growth and progression. Over 2500 young people availed of its many services including youth information, counselling, health programmes, vocational training, leadership development and creative arts.
