About YMCA Ballincollig

YMCA Ballincollig was set up in 1989 to address a number of local youth needs.

Its work focuses on providing pre-vocational training opportunities for young people who have left school early with few or no qualifications. In addition it has been running a family support programme called PAKT ( Parents and Kids Together) since the late 1990’s. It offers children’s activities, family events as well other supports to parents.  A new addition to the suite of programmes is a YouthSpace initiative which is a youth led space for young people which currently has a strong digital media focus.

YMCA Ballincollig is managed by YMCA Ireland in partnership with a local advisory group.
