YMCA Ireland are currently recruiting for an Outdoor Learning Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person to join our team at Greenhill YMCA.

This post is 35 hours per week and the main job role is to ensure the safe and effective coordination and delivery of outdoor learning with specific responsibility for height-based activities and to ensure the development and coordination of the outdoor learning team in meeting the aims and objectives of the centre.

Greenhill YMCA is part of the YMCA Ireland movement, nestled in the foothills of Slieve Donard in Co Down. It is a 17 acre site with panoramic views over the town of Newcastle and Dundrum Bay. The YMCA has been delivering programmes here at Greenhill for over 100 years and it’s the ideal place for any young person to fulfil their potential.

Gross Salary scale is point G6 – £26,039.00 pro rata

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person to join our team to share and support the immense work that YMCA’s are engaged in to support young people and their families. 

This post is 21 hours per week and the main job role is to curate, present and disseminate the key messages from the YMCA movement in Ireland to the relevant audiences and to develop an annual plan for the delivery of the communication strategy. 

YMCA Ireland is an all island movement and for over 175 years has been delivering life enhancing programmes to young people and families.

YMCA’s vision is a world where young people, their families and communities flourish in body, mind and spirit. 

This post will be flexible and home based and will support YMCA Ireland work across the movement. 

Gross Salary scale is point G6 – £26,039.00 pro rata if based in N.I. or €31,247.00 pro rata if based in ROI.

YMCA Ireland in West Dublin is Hiring a Youth and Children’s Worker for PAKT (Parents and Kids Together) and One2One Youth Mentoring.

Working on our PAKT (Parents and Kids Together) and our One2One Youth Mentoring Programme: Full time role – 35 hrs per week. 

PAKT is a community based family support programme. It involves children from 6yrs–18yrs and their families in a range of holistic developmental activities carried out both separately and together. PAKT aims to provide interventions that are designed to promote key factors of resilient young people including: Social competence, Active participation, Physical well-being, Spirituality and Global Justice. One2One is a listening and activity based mentoring service which engages trained mentors to offer under supervision, weekly one-to-one support to ‘vulnerable’ young people aged 10yrs-15 yrs.

One2One Mentoring uses active listening, activities, goal setting and positive role modelling to help young people to build positive relationships with adults and peers as well as developing interests and skills that they can sustain in the longer term. One2One provides, at a pivotal time in their lives, additional safe and supportive space in which young people can grow to their full potential.

Organisation, is to support recovering drug rehabilitation participants to
develop their personal, social and work related skills to enable them to
