Using ICT in Youth Work – Winter 2016 – Applications open

We are writing to invite applications for the level 2 OCN NI ‘Using ICT in Youth Work’ training.  There is no cost to the training and we would appreciate it if you would forward this email to anyone you believe would benefit from it.

 

This training includes understanding the following;

  • The range of ICT technology that may be used within a Youth Work setting
  • The need for safety and security in the use of ICT
  • How to use ICT to engage with young people
  • How to use ICT to facilitate the development of young people
  • How to use ICT to monitor, evaluate and review own youth work practice
  • How to use ICT to measure the impact of youth work with young people

All applicants have to meet the following criteria:

 

  • Be aged 18 years +
  • Have completed a level 2 youthwork qualification
  • Have access to the internet and an ICT device
  • Can commit to attend the full training

There are a limited number of places available so applicants are limited to 2 per organisation.  The training will take place at Belfast YMCA, Knightsbridge Park from 10am – 4pm on the following dates

 

  • Wednesday 16th & Thursday 17th November 2016
  • Wednesday 7th & Thursday 8th December 2016
